Bethany Peaty, the sister of Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, has broken her silence on the ongoing feud between her family and the Ramsays. The 32-year-old carer attended her brother's wedding to Holly Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, in December, despite her mother being banned from the ceremony.
Bethany described the situation as "very difficult," adding that she is "caught right in the middle of the row." She has reconciled with her mother for the sake of her children, saying, "They adore her and she is a great grandma and a good mum." Bethany acknowledged the "different world" of the Ramsays, calling it "wonderful" and stating they made her feel welcome.
The feud reportedly began at the engagement party in 2024, where Gordon Ramsay clashed with Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, over the guest list. Caroline was later uninvited from Holly's hen party and subsequently from the wedding. Adam's parents, Caroline and Mark, along with his brothers James and Richard, did not attend the ceremony.
Tensions escalated further when Adam did not publicly acknowledge his mother on Mothering Sunday, while Holly shared a post celebrating her own mother, Tana Ramsay. Additionally, Adam has reportedly started calling Gordon Ramsay "dad," which drew criticism from his aunt, who called it disrespectful to his biological father.
