Tess Daly has shared a “reset” message on social media after reports emerged that her estranged husband, Vernon Kay, plans to move out of the family home. The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter, 57, married Vernon, 52, in 2003, and the couple have two daughters, Phoebe and Amber.
The pair announced the end of their marriage earlier this year but continued to live together as a family. According to reports, Vernon now plans to leave the six-bedroom home in Buckinghamshire and move to a property around 15 minutes away.
Mallorca trip
Tess has remained quiet on the move but posted about healing while on a trip to Mallorca for a yoga session. She shared images of herself posing on a rock by the sea in yoga gear, barefoot, stretching in various poses, before snapping a mirror selfie at the gym. She was also seen shopping with friends and floating on a pink flamingo inflatable in an infinity pool by the ocean.
In the post, Tess wrote: “A little time away to slow down, reset and recharge. Switching off, and soaking up some sun and sea, and feeling gratitude for quality time with the best of friends.”
Fan reactions
Fans and friends quickly commented on the post. Trinny Woodall wrote: “Pink flamingos all the way – hope you are having a wonderful reset.” Chef Rick Stein’s wife Sarah wrote: “Looks wonderful Tess, enjoy and see you soon.”
One fan commented: “Probably feels weird for you Tess not to be preparing for Strictly for the first time in 23 years!” Another wrote: “Gorgeous pictures. I want a go on the pink flamingo!”
