The National Lottery Lotto and Thunderball draws take place on Wednesday evening, with a Lotto jackpot of £2.8m up for grabs. The Thunderball draw offers a top prize of £500,000.
How the Lotto draw works
Tonight's Lotto draw features two rounds, giving players two chances of winning a prize with every line of numbers, for the same price. In round one, a set of 59 balls is entered into the first draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the bonus ball, and matching two or more numbers from your Lotto line results in a win.
In round two, a second set of 59 balls is entered into the second draw machine. Six balls are drawn plus the bonus ball, and matching two or more numbers from the same Lotto line also results in a win.
Thunderball prize and draw times
For the Thunderball draw, picking the five main numbers plus the Thunderball secures the jackpot of £500,000.
The Lotto draw takes place at 8pm, followed by the Thunderball draw at 8.15pm. Live updates follow below.
