Liberty's beauty advent calendar, priced at £275, offers products worth more than £1,300 and is available for pre-order now, with an official launch on Wednesday, 2 September. The 25-day calendar contains 29 products, 21 of which are full-size.
A Luxury Calendar with a Niche Focus
The box is designed to mimic the retailer's iconic Regent Street store during the festive period. It has sold out every year since its debut in 2014. The 2026 lineup includes premium names such as Sunday Riley's C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum, Augustinus Bader's The Face Oil, Zelens' Emulsion D Fortifying Moisturiser and Sisley Paris's Sisleÿa Essential Skin Care Lotion.
Makeup offerings include Lisa Eldridge, Trinny London and Jones Road, while Maria Nila, Charlotte Mensah and Davines cover haircare. The calendar features eight fragrances, including Liberty's own brand LBTY's Tana Meadow, Matière Première Crystal Saffron, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01, D.S. & Durga Debaser, Vyrao Ever 11, Fugazzi Angel Dust, Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman and Bibbi Parfum Vanilla Factory.
How the Calendar Was Tested
The entire calendar was unboxed in August for review. The assessment considered the ratio of deluxe to full-size products, the usefulness of each formula beyond Christmas, and whether the box could serve as year-round storage. The calendar received a four-star rating.
What stands out is the full-size ratio and the beautifully designed box that doubles as a Christmas decoration. However, the makeup offering is limited, with mostly skincare and fragrance products. Popular brands such as Sol De Janeiro, Elemis, Color Wow, Charlotte Tilbury and Benefit are absent, replaced by more cult and niche labels.
Who Should Buy It
The calendar is largely carried by skincare and fragrance, so makeup fans may find it lacking, except for Trinny London's eye shadow pot and Jones Road's miracle balm. The trade-off for the variety of niche scents is mini sizes that will be used up quickly.
Beauty enthusiasts will appreciate the curated lineup, and the box itself is a display piece. Pre-orders are open now for Liberty Beauty Drop subscribers, while non-subscribers can join the official waitlist. The calendar will officially launch on Wednesday, 2 September.
