Avengers Endgame Encore will be released in UK cinemas on September 25, 2026, featuring four minutes of new footage. The re-release includes a custom introduction and a new post-credits scene offering a special look at Avengers Doomsday.
New footage and IMAX return
The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Infinity Saga concluded seven years ago with Avengers Endgame, the long-awaited follow-up to Avengers Infinity War. The film went on to break box office records and was briefly the highest-grossing film of all time, taking over $2.79 billion globally before Avatar was re-released and reclaimed the top spot.
Aside from a return to IMAX, the re-release will screen in Infinity Vision, a certification for Premium Large Format theaters. Disney says the format guarantees "an exceptional film presentation. This includes big screens, with bright images and outstanding sound. When you see the INFINITY VISION badge, you know you are in for an incredible theatrical experience."
Avengers Doomsday connection
The new post-credits scene offers a special look at Avengers Doomsday, a direct sequel directed by the Russo Brothers. The film stars Robert Downey Jr as Doctor Doom, reunited with Chris Evans' Steve Rogers and Chris Hemsworth's Thor.
Avengers Endgame Encore arrives in UK cinemas on September 25, 2026, ahead of Avengers Doomsday on December 18, 2026. Tickets are available now.
