Tributes have been paid to Dylan Jones, a 24-year-old father who tragically died following a crash in Wythenshawe. The incident occurred on Southmoor Road at approximately 10:40 PM on Friday, May 22, when the Peugeot scooter he was riding collided with a Peugeot E-5008 car. Dylan was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day.

Family Tribute

In a statement released by Greater Manchester Police on June 12, Dylan's family described him as a 'much-loved son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend.' They said: 'Dylan had his whole life ahead of him, with dreams to achieve and many more memories yet to make. His passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how precious life is.'

The family added: 'He was especially treasured by his mother, sister, brother, and adored by his niece and nephew. Dylan leaves behind his young son, who will always carry his love, spirit, and memory. Though gone far too soon, Dylan's memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love that remains in the hearts of everyone who knew him.'

Investigation Details

Police investigations revealed that the white Peugeot E-5008 was traveling on Southmoor Road toward Altrincham Road and intended to turn right onto Floatshall Road when it collided with Dylan's Peugeot Speedflight scooter. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail.
