A man has been taken to hospital after sustaining apparent stab wounds to his face during a violent incident in Leicester city centre. The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday, July 12, on Belvoir Street, near Harvey's nightclub.
Emergency services responded swiftly to reports of a stabbing, finding the victim with serious facial injuries. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was rushed to hospital by East Midlands Ambulance. He is currently in a stable condition, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to Leicestershire Live.
Police Investigation Underway
Leicestershire Police have established a cordon outside the nightclub as they carry out enquiries at the scene. Detective Sergeant Pala confirmed that the city centre was very busy at the time of the incident and urged anyone with information to come forward.
"We are appealing to anyone with any information, who has not yet spoken to police, to please make contact," DS Pala said. "Our enquiries are very much progressing as we continue to establish the full circumstances of what has happened and officers do remain in the area. Please speak to them with any information you have or any concerns you may have."

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack or has any relevant information. The incident took place in a busy area, and officers believe there may be people who saw something but have not yet come forward.
