Richard Freeman, a 76-year-old man from Wistanstow, Shropshire, died in a collision in Monaughty, Powys, on August 12. His family have paid tribute to him as a "much-loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend."
Family Statement
In a tribute, his family said: "Words cannot describe our devastation by Richard's passing. We are still struggling to come to terms with our tragic loss. Richard was a much-loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend of many."
They described him as a retired agricultural engineer who enjoyed outdoor pursuits including cycling, motorcycling, fishing, and walking his dog Indie. "Richard was an experienced motorcyclist since a very early age and we will all miss him dearly. Our lives will not be the same without him and he will be forever in our hearts."
