A 24-year-old father has been arrested in Valencia, Spain, after allegedly slitting the throat of his two-year-old son's speech therapist. The incident occurred when the man discovered the child with his trousers down and no nappy on during a therapy session.
Details of the Incident
The suspect, identified locally as David G.S., reportedly left the clinic briefly to smoke a cigarette. Upon returning, he found his son semi-naked and confronted the therapist. Witnesses reported hearing the man yell, "Either you show me the cameras or I'll kill you."
After the altercation, the father allegedly used a knife to fatally wound the 32-year-old therapist. He then drove home before turning himself in at a police station, still with blood on his hands.
Police Investigation
Officers found the victim lying in a pool of blood at his clinic. The area was cordoned off for forensic examination. A post-mortem is expected to reveal that the therapist died from a slash wound to the neck, causing hypovolemic shock and significant blood loss.
The suspect remains in police custody and is likely to be remanded to prison after a closed-door court appearance, as is standard in Spain.
