Police Hunt Suspect After Girl, 11, Sexually Assaulted Near Bath

Avon and Somerset Police are hunting a suspect after an 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a wooded area near Clarks Way playground in Odd Down, Bath, on Wednesday. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s with a distinctive neck tattoo, wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and a cap at the time of the incident.

Investigation Underway

Detective Inspector Hannah Marsh said: "This is an incredibly serious incident and a significant amount of resources are in place to support our investigation and we are prioritising efforts to identify the offender." Officers are conducting house-to-house enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage. Extra patrols have been deployed in the area.
