Four individuals have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man presented at a hospital with serious injuries, prompting a police investigation. Dyfed-Powys Police reported that hospital staff alerted them to the man's arrival at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15.
Police Investigation Underway
Officers quickly established that the man may have been assaulted at an address on Brynmeurig in Carmarthen. A police cordon remains in place at the property while inquiries continue to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the injuries.
Arrests Made
Two men and two women have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. According to a police statement, a 35-year-old man and two women, aged 30 and 49, all from the Carmarthen area, were taken into custody. A 40-year-old man from the Ammanford area was also arrested. All four remain in police custody.
Victim Discharged
The injured man has since been discharged from hospital, and the investigation is ongoing. Dyfed-Powys Police continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
