A devoted father-of-two was found dead in a hotel room, with his wife paying a heartbreaking tribute to his kindness. Graham Smith, 42, from Preston, was declared dead at the scene at the Queens Hotel in Cheltenham on June 11, an inquest opening has heard.
Wife's Heartfelt Tribute
Following his death, his wife posted a touching tribute online alongside photographs of him with their sons. She wrote: 'My handsome husband, much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend, but above all else, the proud and devoted dad of Corey and Olly.' She described him as 'a goalkeeping extraordinaire, an outstanding cook, keen hiker, golfer, Bob Graham support expert and self-appointed General Knowledge World Champion. He was a man who was always factually correct... according to Graham.'
Inquest Details
The inquest into his death has been opened, but further details regarding the cause have not yet been released. The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham was the scene of the tragedy, where Smith was staying at the time.
