Ukrainian forces have struck 70% of Wildberries' largest logistics centers since July 2026, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). The strikes are part of an ongoing campaign aimed at degrading Russia's defense industrial base and dual-use logistics network.
Massive Strike on Moscow Oblast Hub
On August 15-16, Ukrainian forces hit Wildberries' largest logistics hub in the Koledino Industrial Park in Podolsk, Moscow Oblast, covering 250,000 square meters. Wildberries confirmed that the strike caused a fire and forced the company to "reorganise its logistics chains."
Moscow Oblast Governor Andrey Vorobyov acknowledged the strike on the Podolsk facility. Geolocated footage published on August 16 showed the fire at the warehouse.
Additional Strike in Domodedovo
Ukrainian forces also struck a warehouse in Domodedovo, Moscow Oblast, on the night of August 15-16. Video published on August 16 showed a fire at the Severnoye Domodedovo logistics complex, and Governor Vorobyov acknowledged this strike as well.
Economic and Defensive Impact
Ukrainian strikes have destroyed at least 1.18 million square meters of Wildberries' warehouse space, a fifth of its total capacity. The ISW assesses that the campaign is putting additional pressure on Russia's economy and already-overstretched air defenses.
The ISW report stated: "Russia's inability to protect Wildberries' largest logistics hubs despite the ongoing Ukrainian campaign against such targets demonstrates how Russia lacks a sufficient number of air defenses to protect all of the necessary infrastructure in its rear."
