Tributes are pouring in for a young police officer who has died after being seriously injured while attending a road traffic collision. The officer was allegedly hit by a car while responding to a collision on the A189 in Cramlington, Northumberland, on Monday night. The vehicle that struck the officer was not connected to the original crash.
