Police have issued a major update after a man's body was found in a lake at Watermead Country Park in Leicester over the weekend. Emergency services were called to the park at around 2:28 pm on Saturday, July 4, after the man was spotted in the water.

Officers from Leicestershire Police, alongside East Midlands Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Part of the park near the lake was cordoned off while enquiries were carried out.
