Interpol Red Notice Sought for Suspect in Monaco Parcel Bombing
Interpol is preparing to issue a Most Wanted red notice for Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old Ukrainian national identified as the prime suspect in a parcel bombing that critically injured three people in Monaco on June 29, 2026. The explosion occurred in the entrance hall of a small apartment building near the French border, targeting sanctioned Ukraine-born multi-millionaire Vladim Yermolaiev, a woman, and a 13-year-old boy.
According to an investigating source, Berezovska is considered "armed and dangerous" and is believed to be with accomplices. The source warned: "She should be approached with extreme caution." The suspect was caught on CCTV wearing a black bucket hat and long sleeves, fleeing on foot across the border to France, where there are no checkpoints. Authorities believe she headed toward Beausoleil in France and has since traveled onward to Italy.
Details of the Attack
On the evening of June 29, an individual left a package in the entrance hall of the Sun's Palace, an upmarket apartment block owned by Yermolaiev. Shortly after, the explosive device detonated as three residents—a couple and a teenager—entered the building. Berezovska is suspected of dropping the rucksack that contained the bomb and triggering it from about 12 meters away.
The attack left Yermolaiev, the woman, and the boy with life-threatening injuries. The Monaco prosecutor, Stéphane Thibault, who is leading the inquiry, stated: "We are attempting to arrest the suspect." French and Monégasque authorities have launched a criminal investigation for attempted murder, placement of an explosive device on a public road with criminal intent, and criminal conspiracy.

The prime suspect was identified by a witness, according to the investigating source. Interpol's red notice will seek Berezovska's arrest worldwide. The suspect is described as a Ukrainian national, and authorities are coordinating with French and Italian law enforcement to track her movements.
