Three men have been charged with murder following the death of a 23-year-old man in Croydon. Matheus Dos Santos Mori died from injuries consistent with a stab wound after presenting himself at a hospital on Thursday.
Police Respond to Assault Reports
The Metropolitan Police were called to Livingstone Road in Thornton Heath in the early hours of Thursday morning following reports of an assault. However, no victim or suspects were found at the scene at that time.
Later that day, Dos Santos Mori arrived at a hospital with a stab wound and died shortly afterwards. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
Arrests and Charges
A murder investigation was launched immediately, and three men were arrested on the same day. Rodrigo Gomes Da Silva, 38, Caio Vinicius, 28, and Weder Da Costa, 44, were charged with murder on Friday July 10. They are scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Saturday July 11.
