Caroline Flack's brother Paul Flack dies aged 55

Paul Flack, the brother of former Love Island host Caroline Flack, has died at the age of 55, six years after his sister took her own life. He was found unresponsive at his Sandringham Road home in Norwich on June 21 and later died at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

Inquest opened into Paul Flack's death

A provisional post-mortem has given the cause of death as cardiac arrest due to hanging. An inquest into his death was opened at Norfolk Coroner's Court on Monday. Coroner Yvonne Blake stated that further enquiries would be required before the circumstances surrounding his death can be fully established. The hearing was adjourned until October 23 while evidence continues to be gathered.

Paul Flack's life and tribute to Caroline

Mr Flack, an artist and graphic designer, is survived by his partner and two children. Following Caroline's death in 2020, he posted a childhood photograph of his sister on Instagram, writing: 'This will be my last post here. May those who know feel shame for eternity. Love you Caroline.' That tribute remains his final post on his Instagram account.
