Liverpool City Council Planning Notices
Several planning applications have been submitted to Liverpool City Council, including a proposal for a 7-bedroom House of Multiple Occupation at 2 Eastfield Drive, and new railings at 38 Knowsley Road. A notable application is from The Nashville Cluck at Unit 60a-60 Duke Street, seeking to extend opening hours until 1am Sunday-Thursday and 2am Friday-Saturday. Wirral Borough Council Road Closures
Wirral Council has issued temporary road closure orders. Victoria Road in Birkenhead will be closed from 15 June 2026 for up to 18 months, with an alternative route via Derby Road, Elmswood Road, and Borough Road. Magazine Brow in New Brighton will close from 1 July 2026, with traffic diverted via Magazine Lane, Seabank Road, and Holland Road. Additionally, weight restrictions and one-way suspensions are planned for Borough Road East, Jackson Street, Hind Street, and Jackson Street from 13 July 2026.
Alabama Way Prohibition of Driving Order
A new order prohibits driving on Alabama Way, Birkenhead, between 8pm and 7am daily, effective from 8 June 2026. Objections can be made to the High Court within six weeks from 3 June 2026.
Sefton Council Notices
A notice regarding the estate of Mary Elizabeth Kerr, who died on 3 January 2026, requires claims to be submitted by 14 July 2026. Separately, Brownmoor Bistro Ltd has applied for a premises licence at 115 Brownmoor Lane, Crosby, seeking to sell alcohol and open from 8am to 11pm daily. Representations must be lodged by 25 June 2026.
Knowsley Council Applications
Glasstechnology (Imports) Limited is applying to add one vehicle to its operating centre at Store For You Ltd, Unit 4, Newstet Road, Knowsley Industrial Park. Representations must be made within 21 days.
