A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Season 2 Filming Locations

The BBC's hit thriller A Good Girl's Guide to Murder has returned for its second season, and fans are eager to know where the show was filmed. The series, which aired on Wednesday, 27th May, continues to follow Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers) as she investigates a chilling missing person case involving Connor's older brother Jamie.

Where Was Season 2 Filmed?

The second season was once again filmed in Bristol and Somerset, with much of the interior scenes shot at Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol. These include school classrooms, investigation rooms, and darker interiors for suspenseful moments. Bristol itself provided urban backdrops for Little Kilton, with Clifton Village and the Clifton Suspension Bridge making brief appearances.

The idyllic village of Little Kilton is represented by Axbridge, a small town near Cheddar in Somerset. Filming in 2025 saw closures of the town square, Old Station, and Chestnut Avenue, with a memorial, flags, and other decor added for key scenes such as the memorial service that opens season two. Axbridge's St John the Baptist Church also appears in the series.

Director's Insights

Season two director Asim Abassi commented: "We filmed Little Kilton in the town of Axbridge, which is lovely but small, so you get the challenges of a tight-knit community curious about filming. But it is wonderfully quaint and perfect for Little Kilton."

Another key location is an abandoned manor near Bristol, which actor Zain Iqbal (Ravi) confirmed. Abassi revealed it was his favourite location: "It was originally meant to be something else, but I pushed for it to be a manor, so I am personally attached to it. It ended up being a phenomenal location and, to me, captures the essence of season 2."

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2 is available on BBC iPlayer and internationally on Netflix.
