Meghan Markle's As Ever website traffic drops 53%

Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand As Ever has recorded its lowest monthly website traffic of 2026, with figures showing a significant decline in digital audience during the year.

The brand, which launched on March 4, 2025, attracted 126,655 visits in July, compared with 268,200 visits in January – a drop of roughly 53%, according to Newsweek. Traffic fell in every month except one during that period, producing a six-month average of 176,677 visits.

Comparison with royal websites

Despite the decline, As Ever still outperformed King Charles's Highgrove Gardens online shop, which recorded 48,326 visits in July. However, both websites were comfortably outpaced by the official Royal Family website, which recorded 730,628 visits during the same month.

The figures come from Similarweb, which describes its traffic measurements as estimates derived from multiple data sources rather than from first-party website analytics. The platform allows businesses and researchers to compare traffic volumes, engagement and visitor trends across websites.

Brand's response

An As Ever spokesperson told Newsweek: "Comparing As Ever’s website traffic with royal websites is probably not an especially meaningful comparison.

"As Ever is a consumer business, where the more relevant measures are customers, repeat purchases and sales rather than raw website visits. Traffic naturally rises around launches and then settles as the initial curiosity subsides.

"The focus is on building a sustainable brand and loyal customer base, not chasing page views."

As Ever describes itself on its website as "more than a brand - it’s a love language. Created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, As Ever, welcomes you to a collection of products, each inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining, and hostessing with ease. This curated collection has been crafted to elevate your everyday and inspire moments of joy."

Meghan and Netflix partnered on the brand when it launched in 2025 alongside her lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. In March 2026, the two sides announced that Netflix would no longer be involved with As Ever, with the brand moving forward independently.
