Elizabeth Ball, the 22-year-old entrepreneur from Rainhill, is expanding her 'groovy' fitness empire with a second Hot Curl Pilates studio on Derby Road in Huyton Village. The new venue follows the success of her first studio, which opened in Kirkby town centre on Monday, October 6.
Rapid Expansion
Speaking to the ECHO, Elizabeth said: 'It came quite quickly, to be honest. After we opened the first one, I always knew that I wasn't going to stop at one. I wanted to get a little bit of a collective going, like build a brand. So my eyes were always wandering on about what was popping up and Huyton came up. Just because of how quickly Kirkby had took off, I just decided to go for it.'
What to Expect at the New Studio
The Huyton studio will mirror the Kirkby offering, with instructor-led classes, an infrared hot room, and space for mat and high-intensity sessions. Elizabeth also plans to introduce the popular disco-themed reformer classes that have 'blew up' in Kirkby.
She added: 'We've had like over 200 people sign up for the waiting list. We haven't even announced an opening date yet and that's 200 people that have already signed on. The feedback has just been lovely.'
Keeping the Vibe Alive
Elizabeth is keen to maintain the element of surprise for the new venue. 'We've tried to keep the shutter down as much as we can, just because Kirkby's so groovy. I know everyone will be expecting it to have the same vibe. So I want to keep it a surprise as much as I can. Walking past, people are like, 'oh, what's going on here?' Or I get loads of messages on Instagram. It's just lovely to be honest, having a nice reaction like that.'
