Popular sportswear brand HOKA has opened its first outlet store in the United Kingdom at a seaside shopping centre in Portsmouth, offering discounts of up to 30 percent off the recommended retail price.
The HOKA store at Gunwharf Quays in Hampshire welcomed shoppers for the first time on Friday. Founded in France in 2009, the brand specialises in running footwear and performance apparel. Gunwharf Quays described HOKA as one of the world’s fastest-growing sportswear brands.
Exclusive Offers and Discounts
All products in the outlet store will be up to 30 percent off RRP, with additional exclusive offers available. The pop-up store will remain open for nine months, selling HOKA’s signature footwear and apparel.
Yvonne Clay, centre director at Gunwharf Quays, said: “We are delighted to announce HOKA have chosen Gunwharf Quays for their first outlet store. This news reinforces Gunwharf Quays’ position as a leading UK outlet shopping destination – offering our guests exclusive outlet prices from brands that they cannot access anywhere else.”
Second Physical Store in the UK
The outlet store is HOKA’s second physical shop in the UK, following its flagship store in London. Gunwharf Quays, which opened in February 2001, is situated along Portsmouth harbour next to the Spinnaker Tower. The shopping centre features more than 90 brands and 30 restaurants, bars, and cafes.
Other sports brands at Gunwharf Quays include Nike, New Balance, and Under Armour. On Thursday, June 18, a new Tommy Hilfiger Womenswear & Kids store also opened its doors at the centre.
Millions of people visit the shopping destination each year, which is a short walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city, a Quiz store is set to close on Saturday after the major fashion retailer collapsed into administration.
