Aldi Confirms Specialbuys Date Changes For Festive Season

Aldi has announced changes to its Specialbuys schedule due to the Christmas period. With Christmas Day falling on a Thursday, the usual weekly Thursday release will be disrupted.

An Aldi spokesperson said: "The next Specialbuy release is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, so we'll see new stock landing after the Christmas period. For the following week, Specialbuys will be released on Friday, January 2, and Sunday, January 4." Normal Thursday launches will resume on January 8.

The December 28 release will feature cleaning and storage items, ideal for post-Christmas tidying. Products include a 42L Touch Bin (£12.99), Spray Mop Set (£9.99), and Hotel Collection Reed Diffusers (£2.49). Storage options range from a 42L Underbed Storage (£4.99) to an 80L Storage Box (£5.99) and a 4-Drawer Tower (£12.99).

All Aldi stores will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day to give staff time with their families. Rebecca Heley, communications director, said: "Christmas is a special time, and we want to ensure all of our colleagues have the opportunity to relax and enjoy it with their loved ones."

In the run-up to Christmas, store hours will be extended. Customers are advised to check online for local branch timings.
