Forest Hill Golf Club Enters Administration

Forest Hill Golf Club, a 35-year-old championship course in Leicestershire, has entered administration. The company behind the club, Forest Hill Golf Club Ltd, was placed into administration following an application by a lender.

Administrators Appointed

Simon Carvill-Biggs and John Lowe of FRP Advisory were appointed as joint administrators on June 26, 2026. They are being assisted in day-to-day operations by corporate turnaround specialists Licensed Solutions.

Carvill-Biggs confirmed the business will be "brought to the market and offered for sale" in due course but stressed the club "remains fully operational and trading under the control of the Administrators."

Club Facilities

Built in 1991, the club is "nestled within 140 acres of beautiful Leicestershire countryside," according to its website. It features an 18-hole championship golf course, a floodlit 20-bay driving range with Trackman Range Technology, a three-bay Golf Simulation Suite (SimX), an 18-hole adventure golf course called Anaconda Falls, a gym and studio, and a lounge bar and restaurant.

The club is located just 20 minutes from Leicester city centre.

The club holds a 4.5/5 rating on Google based on 844 reviews. One customer wrote: "Loved today. A family round of adventure golf & then a lovely meal in the restaurant. Great service & nice menu. The pork belly was very good! We will visit again."

Another five-star review stated: "We had a good time playing the mini golf course. Staff were super friendly. Its a great spot to enjoy an hour's fun." A third added: "We came across this place whilst travelling to my son's cricket match. Afterwards, we decided to stop and have a Sunday roast. It was amazing. The service outstanding."

Carvill-Biggs said: "We continue to support the membership and look forward to welcoming new members and users of the facilities over the coming months." The administrators aim to sell the business as a going concern.
