Trafford Centre Announces Haribo Christmas Grotto for 2026
Trafford Centre Haribo Christmas Grotto 2026 Announced

The Trafford Centre has unveiled plans for its 2026 Christmas grotto, partnering with sweet manufacturer Haribo for the first time to create the "HARIBO Holly Jolly Grotto," an interactive family adventure running from November 20 to December 23.

What to Expect at the Grotto

The experience will feature larger-than-life installations, hands-on games, and a one-to-one visit with Santa. Children will become "Holly Jolly Helpers," completing a checklist of activities inspired by Haribo sweets, including designing a digital sweet at a Creation Station and animating a giant cola bottle at the Fizz the Festive Cola Lab.

Other attractions include the glowing HARIBO Ring Reflections installation and an interactive Cherry Seat. The grotto is produced by Bakehouse Factory, an award-winning creator of interactive theatrical events.

Statements from Officials

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: "We're delighted to be welcoming the HARIBO Holly Jolly Grotto to Trafford Centre this Christmas. Families are always looking for magical experiences they can enjoy together during the festive season, and this exciting new attraction combines the much-loved tradition of meeting Santa with the colourful, playful world of HARIBO."

Phil Murphy, Chief Marketing Officer, HARIBO UK & Ireland, added: "At HARIBO, our mission is to create moments of childlike happiness and Christmas is one of the most special times of year to bring that to life for families and loved ones. After opening our Trafford store during the festive season last year, we’re delighted to build on that relationship with the Trafford Centre community through the HARIBO Holly Jolly Grotto."
