Related recall of Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

Last week, shoppers were warned about another product recall. B&M and Savers were among the stores recalling Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water. Simple said: "In the UK, we are recalling a limited number of Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water (730ml) products with specific batch codes (613841 or 613941) as a precaution due to the possible presence of bacteria, which has the potential to cause eye inflammation for some consumers. The safety of the people who buy and use our products is our top priority. Other Simple products are not affected by this issue. If you have any concerns about your health, we recommend seeking advice from a medical professional."

Customers have been told to contact Unilever directly by email ukicare@unilever.com with a photo of the bottle showing one of the affected batch codes (613841 or 613941) on the bottom. High-street chains like Boots and Superdrug sell smaller sizes of the product (such as 200ml or 400ml), which are unaffected by this recall.
