The family of Andrew Roberts say they are at a 'complete loss for words' after the 24-year-old died in a tragic crash on Friday morning, July 24. Andrew Roberts and his friends Jack Diggle, 23, Benjamin Dooley, 23, and Craig Shackleton-Brady, 26, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
A black Cupra Formentor hit a lamppost on Liverpool Road. A 27-year-old man, a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital and remains there in a stable condition.
Tributes from loved ones
A tribute from Andrew's family said their worlds are now shattered and they keep waiting for him to come through the door at any moment. They said Andrew's death is a painful reminder of how 'precious' every moment in life is.
Andrew, who was known affectionately as 'Pip' by those closest to him, has left his family with a 'lifetime' of memories but his mum says her heart will forever be broken.
She said: 'My beautiful blue-eyed boy, I can't believe I'm having to even write this. My sweetheart boy could never do no wrong, my life will never be the same with you not here. My heart will forever be broken. I love you son.'
Andrew's dad says he is 'heartbroken' as his son meant the world to him. In his tribute he said: 'You were the world to me son and the best son anyone could ask for. I can't imagine life without you. Loved beyond words and never to be forgotten.'
Messages from siblings and partner
Andrew's brothers Carl and Thomas said: 'Pip, our baby bro. Even though you were our younger brother we always looked up to you. You will always be the glue to our crazy family. We Love you lil bro.'
Andrew's sister Chloe and nephews Lewis and Lucas said: 'My big brother and the best uncle to my boys. My heart is in pieces. Your Lewy adores you more than life itself and you are the best role model to him. You will forever be his favourite uncle, his best friend, and his whole world. What are we going to do without you in our life? We love you forever and always.'
Andrew's partner Kiera said: 'My Andrew, my best friend. I never imagined I would ever have to live without you. I am so lost now. You were my whole life, and I don’t know how I'm going to cope without you, but I promise I'm going to try stay strong for you and keep you proud of me like you always were. Please know I always love you Andrew.'
One of Andrew's cousins, George, added: 'Pip man what do I say? Should never be me burying you, what I would give for the roles to be reversed lad. My little man, lost without you. Love you more than words could even describe. Rest easy my brother I’ll be with you before you know it.'
