During an Oval Office briefing, social media users were significantly distracted by an unidentified man's protruding belly button that overshadowed the president's announcements.
The man was observed standing behind Trump as he addressed the press regarding the easing of a Biden-era rule that mandates U.S. businesses reduce greenhouse gases in cooling equipment.
“The only thing more outrageous than Trump here is the bulging belly button,” one X user wrote while another added, “Can someone please move Bellybutton Man out of frame.”
Trump also discussed various other subjects, including his demand for $1 billion to fund parts of the White House ballroom and whether the Republican Senate majority would agree to a border security funding bill.
