PSNI Officer Found Dead on Northern Ireland Beach

A serving Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) officer has been named as the man whose body was discovered on a beach in County Antrim over the weekend. Stuart Graham, a devoted husband and father, was found at Whiterocks Beach near Portstewart on Sunday, prompting an emergency response and a cordon that kept members of the public away from the area.

Tributes and Funeral Arrangements

Locals have paid tribute to Mr Graham, who has been described as a loving husband to Nicola and a devoted father to Amelia and Dylan. A service of thanksgiving is scheduled to take place in Belfast this weekend. His funeral notice, published by Belfast Live, requests donations in lieu of flowers to Portrush RNLI, reflecting his connection to the coastal community.

Alderman Richard Brown Stewart, deputy mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, expressed shock at the discovery. “This is a shocking discovery for the town,” he said. “My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and loved ones of the deceased at what will be an incredibly difficult and distressing time for them. I also want to pay tribute to the emergency services and all those involved in responding to the incident with professionalism, dignity and care. I would ask people to respect the privacy of the family as investigations continue.”
