Lisa Hogan on Clarkson's Heart Scare: He Refuses This

Lisa Hogan, the partner of Jeremy Clarkson, has disclosed that the television personality still refuses to eat one particular food despite his recent health scare. The upcoming fifth season of Clarkson's Farm will delve into Clarkson's heart problem, which required the insertion of a stent.

Clarkson's Health Scare and Recovery

Jeremy Clarkson was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after experiencing chest tightness and pins and needles in his arm. Medical professionals discovered blocked arteries, leading to emergency treatment. Speaking ahead of the new season, Hogan revealed that Clarkson did not adhere to medical advice to rest. She stated: 'Jeremy was advised to rest for a couple of weeks, and that lasted about a day and a half. He still absolutely refuses to eat cottage cheese.'

Emotional Turn in Clarkson's Farm Season 5

Executive producer Andy Wilman indicated that the new series takes a more emotional direction. He explained: 'In many ways it’s the most personal series yet, not because Jeremy wants to make it about himself, but simply because of circumstance. When the series opens, he’s sidelined with a heart problem, and that shapes everything that follows.' The episodes are described as 'much heavier and more emotional than anything we’ve seen before'.
