Katie Price has provided a health update as she attempts to move forward amid the ongoing drama surrounding her missing husband, Lee Andrews. However, she admits she is 'still looking for answers' more than a week since she last spoke to the 43-year-old businessman.
Health Update and Search Efforts
The 47-year-old former glamour model had been keeping her followers informed about the situation, claiming Lee was last seen in the back of a vehicle with his hands tied. After reports suggested he had been active on his phone without contacting his wife, Katie appears eager to move on with her life. In an Instagram upload on Thursday evening, she acknowledged that the 'past few days have been a lot' and confirmed, 'We are still looking for answers.' In the video, she said, 'Hey everyone, just giving you a little update. I'm feeling a lot better today. A lot calmer.'
Podcast Revelations
Earlier in the day, the mother of five addressed speculation about her husband's whereabouts during a podcast with her sister Sophie. She stated she is 'not stupid' and has made a U-turn on her earlier loyalty to the 'kidnapped' Lee. Katie explained, 'I've never known a week of so much stuff everywhere. My brain has just been bonkers. Everyone's seen my YouTube - there's nothing more for me to say apart from the police are now handling it. The British police, British consulate, Foreign Office, Interpol; they're all on the case now looking for Lee.'
She continued, 'My tentacles are up, I'm not stupid. There's one person I need to look after, myself. I'm taking a step back and that's it. I don't know what's true and what's not true. I don't know. My antennas are up and I've decided to take a step back from everything and assess everything in my way. What will be will be.'
Moving Forward
Katie revealed she feels there is nothing more she can say on the matter, with speculation still rife. She added, 'Now the police are dealing with it, I'm just leaving it to the police. I'm not talking about it anymore. It's getting ridiculous now, just people taking the p**s out of it. I already feel like a d**k as it is from the TV show. It's not a nice feeling to be going through it. I've learned from the past with therapy, when there's triggers and how to deal with it.'
She concluded, 'Today, I've decided to say to myself, "Kate you've got the best people looking for him. All I can do is just get on with my life. I've got lots of exciting things coming up. I'm just waiting for a call. What am I supposed to do? Sit here and cry and stay in bed? No because I'm not that. We will find out everything, I'm sure."'
