NATO Scrambles Jets in Poland Amid Russian Drone Strikes

NATO has scrambled fighter jets in Poland amid an onslaught of Russian drone strikes on neighbouring Ukraine. The warplanes were deployed as a defensive measure following an escalation in hostilities by Vladimir Putin after a three-day ceasefire.

The fighters were launched around the same time that Donald Trump arrived in Beijing. Footage has emerged showing a Russian Shahed drone striking a building in Lutsk, located in the Volyn region, and subsequently exploding.
