Footage from a Qantas flight has emerged showing a man in a heated exchange with cabin crew, repeatedly telling them to 'fuck off' when asked to move to the back of the plane. The incident occurred on QF21, which departed Melbourne bound for Dallas on Friday but was diverted to Papeete in Tahiti.
Disruptive Behavior on Board
The man, seen standing in the aisle, appears to be stumbling and slurring his words. He told a flight attendant he wanted to 'walk out for a ciggie'. The video, uploaded to social media by comedian Mike Goldstein, captures the tense moment as crew members attempt to manage the situation.
Passenger Banned Following Incident
According to reports, the passenger has been banned from Qantas after allegedly biting a flight attendant. The airline confirmed the diversion and stated that the matter has been handed over to Australian Federal Police. Qantas emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The flight eventually continued to Dallas after the disruptive passenger was removed in Tahiti. The incident has sparked discussions about passenger safety and airline policies regarding unruly behavior.
